Mariel Alkestrup 2nd Year Massage Therapy Student

Mariel Alkestrup is a Registered Massage Therapist and graduate of the Vicars School of Massage Therapy. She began her hands-on clinical training at Renew Restore Revive Massage Therapy Clinic in September 2024, under the mentorship of clinic owner and director, Danni Gravel, RMT. This experience strengthened her skills, built her confidence, and deepened her commitment to providing compassionate, client-centered care.
Before pursuing massage therapy, Mariel worked as a health care aide in long-term care beginning in 2006. Her many years of frontline experience fostered a strong passion for supporting others—physically, emotionally, and holistically—which naturally guided her toward the field of therapeutic massage.
Now a valued member of the Renew Restore Revive team, Mariel is dedicated to delivering calming and effective treatments that enhance her clients’ overall well-being. She is also committed to ongoing professional growth and plans to expand her skills with advanced training in myofascial cupping and TMJ techniques.
